US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer

The Outreach Program for Soccer
US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, ages 6-18, who has a mental or physical disability. Our goal is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the US Youth Soccer family.

Decatur Soccer has partnered with the US Youth Soccer Association to bring TOPSoccer to Decatur!

How Can You Help

Coach a Session.

We are looking for Coaches to help facilitate coaching sessions and drills/games.

Become a Buddy.

We need “Buddies” to act as peer coaches, who will be assigned to a player and will help demonstrate what to do. This may include soccer drills or sitting in the grass rolling the ball with a player who is nervous to join the crowd. You will hopefully have the same player every week to give them comfort.

Be a Helping Hand.

We also need other volunteers for whatever may arise. Things like moving goals, retrieving balls, helping with fields, etc.
